MacBook Pro Update

If anyone has been following my MacBook Pro dilemma, here is a brief update.

October 12, 2006, bring MacBook Pro into local Apple store. After a half hour of useless fiddling the Mac genius decided that it needed a new Airport card. So I left it at the store for repair. I was told that it should be done by the following Wednesday (which would have been the 18th).

Today, October 28, 2006. Still no MacBook Pro. The last I heard, which was nearly a week ago, was that the Airport card, logic, and main board have been replaced but neither have solved the problem. Apparently they are waiting on another part.

I commend Apple for taking the time to fix whatever is wrong. I just wish that they were a little bit faster with the turnaround. The thing was rock solid until the freezes started. But it is nearly impossible to go this long without my computer. A temporary change is more of a pain that I originally thought. I will let you know when I finally get my MacBook Pro back and what the problem was, if Apple can figure it out.
